Tables with cast aluminium base lacquered white, black or aluminium. Tops: - Marble “Absolute white”, Marble “Gold Calacatta”, Marble “White Michelangelo”, Marble “Black Marquinia”, Liquid laminate laquered white or black, Laminate white or black, Oak wood black or wengé stained.
History:
Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1956. The work of the tables began after 1956 and were the last pieces of furniture: designed by Saarinen before his untimely death in 1961. The pedestal group was Saarinen's attempt solve the problem of the "slum of legs" and to eliminate the resulting visual clutter.
