Sofa with wooden frame upholstered with polyurethan foam. Feet in lacquered beech-wood. Velvet or leather covering.
History:
Designed in 1911 by Joseph Hoffmann. This model is a reproportioning of an earlier model designed for the vestibule of the Palais Stoclet, Bruxelles. That earlier model was mounted on wooden feet and, although a contrasting decorative piping Ws used, it was used rather sparingly.
