Charles Rennie Mackintosh
Mesa de fresno lacado con poro abierto.
Historia
Designed in 1918 by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This is a smaller version of the table designed for the country home of the industrialist W.T. Basset-Lowke. The client proved to be difficult and the design of the table with accompanying chairs and sideboard was not accepted. Roger Billcliffe, author of the definitive book on Mackintosh feels that-judging from the careful detailing of the executive drawings-Mackintosh considered this series as particularly important.
